Rhode Island Radiator Cover

Let’s face it, most radiators can be ugly!
Replacing an unsightly radiator can be expensive, not everyone can afford the cost, and the hassle. A radiator cover is a much more cost efficient option. At Murphy Larkin Timber Products, we are sure to have one to match your home. Our range includes white, oak, two toned (white with an oak top) and any array of sizes, so you’re to find your perfect fit. All of our radiator covers are supplied with wall fixings, be sure to use them.
Safety in the Home –
In addition to looking nice, radiator covers are ideal for child proofing your home. Your little ones run of the risk of burns or scolds if they touch an exposed hot radiator. Our covers will give you peace of mind that your children will remain safe in your home.

Décor –
But, general health and safety isn’t the only reason to use radiator covers, they can of course add to the décor and appearance of a room. A simple home interior addition of a radiator cover can really help to transform a room or hallway. I recently installed our Rhode Island radiator cover in my hallway instead of a console table and was really surprised how much room the table was taking up!

The slimer radiator cover will give you more hallway space, plus, with the added bonus of extra surface area for things like plants and décor.

A radiator cover is also a great solution when surface storage is tight,
for example in a bedroom where a radiator cover could double as a bedside table, or in a bathroom where it could be used as a shelf for toiletries.

Tips on decorating your radiator cover –
If your radiator cover is in your hallway, you can’t go wrong with a mirror centred on the wall above, some beautiful flowers (faux are best instead of fresh, as they won’t die off from the heat) and some nice family pictures.
Don’t forget: these can be painted to match the shade of your room, so don’t be afraid to blend the radiator cover with the wall colouring, it works very well, especially with deeper colours. So grab the paint brushes and go for it! Painting your radiator the same colour as the walls draws the eye up, so completing your look with vertical art work will always be a winner here.
If you have a shorter radiator, keep the accessories to a minimum. A candle and a nice ginger jar maybe, or try a picture frame and a decorative ornament will be just enough to add to this smaller piece.

Personally, I love a nice reed diffuser on my hallway radiator cover, its lovely to get the nice scent every time I pass through.
