Why choose a Palladio Composite Door?
Palladio composite doors are the very latest in door technology, and have been manufactured specifically to banish the flaws of previous door materials such as timber & uPVC. This knowledge coupled with the freedom to use multiple materials ensures that these composite doors remain structurally stable and will not warp or become draughty.
They are maintenance free and never require painting.
They are substantially more heat retentive than uPVC and timber, providing a U-Value of 0.8
They are made using a 65mm Reinforced Fibreglass Monocoque Structure (the same construction and material used in boat making). They are finished by bonding a natural wood-grain PVC skin to the surface of the fibreglass.
The doors come fitted with an 8 point locking system as standard, and is ‘secured by design’ accredited.
Palladio Doors are expected to last in excess of 35 years. Moving parts must be oiled yearly to ensure optimum performance.
All door models have several different glass designs and backing glasses to choose from.
All door models have several different colours to choose from.
What makes a ‘Palladio Door’ superior to other composite door ranges?
Conventional composite doors are comprised of two 2mm skins bonded to a foam core. Our doors are constructed using a far superior 65mm Reinforced Fibreglass Monocoque Structure (the same construction and material used in boat making). This fibreglass structure ensures that the doors remains durable and heat retentive, but also makes them extremely strong and virtually impossible to break through.
